Move Me To Grand
Movement, Mindful Living & Life Transitions Partner
Move Me To Grand, led by Joyce Churchwell, reflects a thoughtful integration of mindful movement, intentional living, and practical guidance through life’s transitions.
As a REALTOR® with RE/MAX and a yoga instructor with Live Bliss, Joyce supports individuals during moments of change with clarity, presence, and compassion, whether navigating transitions in the body, the home, or the next chapter of life.
Joyce is also a major contributor to Live Bliss, whose long-standing financial commitment has helped sustain programming, expand accessibility, and ensure continued support for individuals during times of profound need. Her generosity has played a meaningful role in the transformation—and in some cases, the saving—of lives by allowing healing-centered services to remain available when they mattered most.
Her work emphasizes:
-
Listening inward before making outward decisions
-
Using movement and breath to reduce stress and restore balance
-
Supporting emotional and physical integration during periods of transition
-
Compassionate, accessible practices that meet people where they are
Joyce embodies the understanding that change is more than a move, it is a moment of transformation. Through Move Me To Grand and her partnership with Live Bliss, she helps people approach transitions with awareness, agency, and trust.

Warriors’ Ascent
Veteran-Founded | Veteran-Led | Evidence-Based Healing
Warriors’ Ascent is a veteran-founded, veteran-led 501(c)(3) based in Kansas City, Missouri, dedicated to helping veterans, service members, and first responders heal from post-traumatic stress and moral injury through a rigorously grounded, non-pharmacological approach.
Their five-day immersive program has been formally studied and validated in a peer-reviewed article published by the American Psychological Association in the Journal of Psychotherapy Integration. The research identified Warriors’ Ascent as a clinically effective, well-tolerated model utilizing a Multimodal Group Therapy (MMGT) framework that integrates three evidence-based modalities:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT)
-
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
These modalities are paired with structured self-care practices that empower participants with skills that restore agency, emotional regulation, and meaning, rather than reliance on medication alone.
At its core, Warriors’ Ascent fosters an environment of unconditional positive regard and deep community, where healing occurs in relationship, not isolation. Participants care for:
-
The Mind through mindfulness, meditation, and trauma-informed education
-
The Body through yoga, functional movement, mobility, nutrition, and somatic regulation
-
The Soul through ceremony, catharsis, warrior rituals, and guided reflection supporting identity repair and wholeness
Healing extends well beyond the five-day experience through encouragement of ongoing therapy when needed, daily ownership of learned practices, and lifelong connection to a strong alumni community.
Offered at no cost to participants beyond travel, Warriors’ Ascent stands as a rare, evidence-backed model integrating mind, body, and soul helping those who serve not merely cope, but truly heal and thrive.
Live Bliss & Warriors’ Ascent:
A Decade of Aligned Healing
For more than a decade, Live Bliss has walked alongside veterans, service members, and first responders on the path of intentional healing many of whom have also participated in the Warriors’ Ascent immersive program.
Founded by a Gulf War veteran who personally experienced Warriors’ Ascent as part of the clinical cohort studied by the American Psychological Association, Live Bliss brings a deeply informed, lived understanding of trauma recovery, moral injury, and post-traumatic growth. This firsthand experience has meaningfully shaped Live Bliss programming, philosophy, and community culture.
Through ongoing collaboration and shared values, Live Bliss has supported Warriors’ Ascent participants and alumni by reinforcing the daily practices essential to long-term healing including mindfulness, yoga, self-regulation, intentional living, and community accountability. Participants frequently describe Live Bliss as a bridge between immersive healing experiences and sustainable, everyday integration.
Together, Live Bliss and Warriors’ Ascent exemplify a complementary, non-pharmacological approach to healing—one that restores agency, cultivates self-trust, and empowers veterans to move beyond coping toward lasting resilience, purpose, and wholeness.
